That does suck, I'd think about suing the student loan office, or getting some kind of reparations out of them.

Hope all goes well, and you get the money before it's too late

The "loan office" would be the federal government.
If you were referring to the student accounts office... that's a thought.
Problem with a law-suit, the kid has no idea who is actually at fault, whether it is the school, the bank, or the government. :(
But thank you all for you support. The kid appreciates it.

You could ask a lawyer, but then again, that's going to cost a pretty penny in and of itself. :(

Sorry to hear it, Stitch. That sort of thing went on all the time at Rutgers University - it was known coloquially as the "RU Screw." Perhaps just showing them the invoice marked "paid" for the semester in question, then informing them that you'll take that invoice to an attorney, will cause them to be a bit more flexible?

Anyway, Bryan - any resolution that you care to speak of?

Tsuki, hope you feel better. I have been... well, not much, actually. Just working for a living, living and a working. I'm taking what they're giving 'cause I'm working for a living.
Thanks, Striker. I take it you've been jamming on Huey Lewis?
If you have any idea how glad I am you got that, tsuki. :) My favorite band of all time, too.

Ouch, Stich. :( I'm sorry to hear.

At least they're not sending you to India...

What's the latest? I haven't seen or talked to my in-laws since Canadian Thanksgiving, when I bitched the father-in-law out for being a racist, homophobic, bigoted piece of crap and for making my wife feel like scum because she has piercings.

I am a very happy man. :)
