Yeah, gotta agree with Mark. Facing your problems and working through them is a good sign of maturity.
And thanks, Mark. Haven't been hurt in three days.

Well, I just found out that one of my students has/had a crush on me.
I guess that's what happens when you sub for the same teacher for a week.
Mind you, I haven't had her in a class since last year, and I just found out now (if anyone wants to know the details, feel free to PM me). I am quite thick-headed.
And no, it never occurred to me that this could happen.
I am a little worried about how I am going to handle it from now on...
Any suggestions.

well you could always do what my grandpa did when one of his students liked him. (he was a regular teacher at that point though.)stitch626 wrote:Well, I just found out that one of my students has/had a crush on me.

in that case, maybe that option isn't the best one for you.

Oh dear lord. Applying to doctoral programs with 10 days left until the deadline is a NIGHTMARE. I have to get so much S*it together, it's ridiculous. Add this on top of completing my thesis AND a separate 15-page research paper so I can send them along with the applications, and you have one stressed mofo.
So I'm unwinding here on DITL for a little while.
