I got to see one of my best friends last night; she lives in Austin, and I haven't seen her since I went out there in March. I am very happy today. :D

Cool, it's always a pleasure to catch up with old friends. Wait, she's not another one of 'those' friends is she?

No.

But, hey, the future's not written, and she's the best woman I've ever met, so I'd love it. I'd want a relationship of course, not just a "friends w/benefits thing"; not with her. She's one of my best friends, though, so it's win/win for me either way. :D

She single? Or is there a significant other that must be removed?

Her current boyfriend would be easy to circumvent, if I chose to. She was in a serious relationship with one of my other best friends though, seven years ago. They still have feelings for each other, and it's awkward enough between the three of us as it is. :?

Life can NEVER be simple, I suppose.

If it were always simple, it would be quite boring.

I for one like the quiet life.

I'll have enough of the quiet life when I'm dead.

Alas, the quiet life likes no one: there is no need to seek chaos as chaos will find you. :pope:

That means you have to add "-in bed" to the end of my fortune-post when you read it. :happydevil:
