Starship Pics
Re: Starship Pics
I like that last one, but the engines are a little bit cartoony for my tastes. Looks like something Blizzard would design. But there's alot of detail in there that I like - most of all, the sunken bridge. More pictures of that one, please!

I guessed that much - is it from a game or what? And did the creator provide a descriptive blurb for it?bob wrote:It's some fan made ship

Re: Starship Pics
With the nacelles shaped to match the hull, yet separated, I could see it as a close precursor of the Defiant - or a higher-speed scout or interceptor version.
*EDIT* crossed posts with the link. Extendable nacelles... meh. A little wanking there. However, I see it was supposed to be a larger cousin of the Defiant. With the nacelles stationary in the extended position, I could still see a smaller-scale version in the roles I mentioned above.

Re: Starship Pics
I see the Akira class in her as well. Especially around the primary hull. And her specs aren't wanktastic either. If I understand the site she comes from, it's another RP site Good find, Bob.

Re: Starship Pics
I think it looks like the love child of a Defiant and a Nova.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

And, the Nova's mother was an Akira. I was thinking something similar.Teaos wrote:I think it looks like the love child of a Defiant and a Nova.

Re: Starship Pics
It's been a while since I showed off any of the pics in my collection. Again, let me preface by saying none of this is my work, and all respect and credit goes to the artist. Unfortunately, I don't remember who they are, unless their sig is in the pic itself. No pic I display has ever been altered by me in any way.
This one is for Reliant.
Here is a nod to the crew of the Ravage. Which variant do we have again?
This is a badass shot I found of the Defiant
The battle is on!!!

There is not a problem in this world that can't be solved without the proper application of a sufficient number of thermonuclear ordnance.

Man, that angle really shows just how empty those ships are.

Re: Starship Pics
I have a hard time finding good Romulan pics for some reason.
Rochey, I was thinking the exact same thing. I wonder why a smaller ship never tried to fly right threw that BIG opening.
