CS Maratona
Re: CS Maratona
Is there actually an anti-pirate ship in the fleet, or do they use fighters for that?

Re: CS Maratona
There are low end patrol ships; tiny little things with long range and light weapons. When something heavier hitting is needed there are Corvettes, not powerful by naval standards but more than a match for any pirate ship or ships. The Kavanaugh class is an example of a Corvette, I have a patrol ship in the works. It will be something along the lines of the Australian Armidale class patrol boat

Plus, pirates are hardly going to have tech to match military ships, even if they are of equal tonnage.

Billions of worlds in the Galaxy, many of them with a population in the trillions. You do the math.

Unless said pirates have technology several million years ahead of the other guys. I can see pirates of larger empires going into smaller worlds' lands and stealing their resources.Rochey wrote:Plus, pirates are hardly going to have tech to match military ships, even if they are of equal tonnage.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Exactly. What's a major galactic power to do if it can't build reverse ratcheting routers?
