Re: 101 reasons why I love DS9
As has been stated elsewhere, the issue isn't with the validity of Chris' point - it's with the fact that Chris knew what he was talking about while the rest of us may have completely forgotten the gist of the prior thread.

Ah, well that happens to me all the time when I get home and read what I've missed. Thats why I go back a page or two to catch up. Though I hate when topics reach 10 or 20 pages while I'm gone. That sucks!

I find it ironic that out of all the people on this forum is it Deep who shares my opinion.Deepcrush wrote:I don't see a problem with it. Chris added his fair POV plus another "reason" to the count. I thought it was said that it was ok to reopen a thread as long as you have something to add.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

That's pretty damn odd, yeah.

Re: 101 reasons why I love DS9
Having just watched WYLB again, did anyone notice the bit near the end where Vic is singing 'the way you look tonight' and sings the line 'and that laugh, that wrinkles your nose' to Kira well, made me laugh anyway and very subtle. I wonder if there are any songs containing a reference to a furrowed brow that he could have sung to Worf
“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and
the affection of children...to leave the world a better place...to
know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is
to have succeeded.”
