I have to agree with that one, the intro was awesome.
Re: Find the founders IV sign in
I'm really impressed Rochey. Did you give that intro some thought, or just kind of shoot from the hip???

Re: Find the founders IV sign in
To be honest, I just made it all up as I went along.
I saw Mark's suggestion of being survivors of a crashed ship, so I figured the logical reason that we'd crashed is because the Founders sabotaged us. But then I had to think of a reason for the Founders to be so keen on taking us down, so I figured we may have stolen some Dominion plans. I then remembered the Breen raid on Earth, so I thought "maybe the raid was so weak because the Breen had expected Dominion reinforcments that were intercepted en route". So from there I just wrote up that we had intercepted the orders for the Dominion fleet to attack Earth.
It'll be very interesting to see what'll happen if the good guys don't win....the fate of the Federation is in your hands!

If we lose, it will be a first.

It will indeed, but who knows. Anything could happen.

Re: Find the founders IV sign in
I just realized something. The odds actually inproved for the founders. The first three games we had 7 players. Now we only have six.
BTW, at what time does the game become a Founder victory? Last game, I would have called it for the founders at even, meaning 2 founders and 2 humans (or 1 and 1).
What about this one? Did this ever even come up before?

There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939
