Extremely, it would be like some guy telling you he loved your girlfriend, or something like that.

Hey, Nick, you like being a semi psychologist... aren't you breaking doctor/patient confidentiality by discussing your cases on here? :P

Sound like Bob needs to spend some time with us in the stud cornor. We could make him rather dangerous with the women

Yeah, um he's only 14. There'll be time for that later.

Time to start the training. By 16, he'll be ready to go.

Well, I finally heard from Uzume... She's very upset at her inconsiderate attitude (it's pretty much like you said, Mark); once she started drinking, etc, she just stayed out, because her bf doesn't care for her going to bars, and she didn't want to come home. She said everything I was going to chew her out on (saving me a lot of talking), and was rather remorseful. I took the opportunity to remind her that we've been working on being better people together; that is something everyone should work on, IMO, and we've been at it for several years now. I'm going to press the attack (since she's vulnerable), and help her see that the high road has the better view.

Please, wish me luck. Like I said, she means everything to me, and I have to help her. She's my best friend.

Good luck dude. BUT, don't preach. I made that very mistake recently, and it did more harm than good. One of the men I sponsor started using again, and I kind of took it personally, and went from loving support to preaching. Didn't help things at all.

Of course. Never worked on me either; I have a much more subtle and insidious method. :happydevil:

I invited her and her boyfriend over; they should be here soon. Wish me luck again.

Nah, they just hung out for a few minutes. It was good, though; I've never really had the chance to sit and talk with him. I'm... a lot happier about the situation now. He's a cool guy.

Nice. That makes it a bit easier to live with, I imagine.
