Yeah, and I'd probably get tired of hearing, "Hey, I wonder what SHE looks like under that wool."
I can't stand nothing dull
I got the high gloss luster
I'll massacre your ass as fast
as Bull offed Custer

No doubt you wouldn't have a clue what I'd be saying, I've been told I have a rather thick accent.
"You've all been selected for this mission because you each have a special skill. Professor Hawking, John Leslie, Phil Neville, the Wu-Tang Clan, Usher, the Sugar Puffs Monster and Daniel Day-Lewis! Welcome to Operation MindFuck!"

Where as I would be being stared at. I almost always get stared at.
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
Here is what a night out with the DITL crew would be like IMHO
The brothers Kennedy would each be purusing copies of Maxim, looking for the hottest sci fi babes that we've missed.
Seafort would launch into a long dissertation about...............anything
Rochey would show up several hours late
Mikey and I would be talking about "the good old days" (a bunch of stuff that most nobody here would remember)
Stitch would be trying to psychoanalize everyone
Nick would be busy avoiding the girls tying to pick him up
Reliant, meanwhile, would be competeing with Tsu to see who could tell the dirtiest joke
While Teaos and Bryan watch the rest of us make asses of ourselves
Did I forget anyone??????????

You forgot that I'd drink you lot under the table by closing time.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

That'd be a neat trick since I'm on the wagon 8) But, have at it. I'll keep my permanent marker handy for the drive home

I think I could take you, you look about my size so it would be a fair contest.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Oh, lest I forget anyone.........Monroe, Stryker, and Grundig get to help me carry everyone out of the place afterwards, while Bob picks up the tab 8)

And I'd probably join any one of those groups, or all of them. Unless you have a different image of me?Mark wrote: Seafort would launch into a long dissertation about...............anything

Well, with your McCoy avatar, I kind of see you trying to get everyone through the next day hangover 8) PLUS, it'll take at least four of us to pick Thorin up from under the table

Don't worry about me; my giant feet and my cane give me incredible drunken stability.
