Why does a phrase connotating age have to begin with, "Back in Mikey's day..."

Alas my young Padawan, it is true. The most cleverly thought out plans of those in there teen years are the exact same gimmiks we used, and are the same ones that we perfected in our 20s. Thus by the time we hit our 30s, we have a natural counter in that we know what you'll do before you figure it out yourself.

And, just for the record, I remember watching Encounter at Farpoint when it was first aired, WITH commercial interuptions. 8)

When the E-D seperated her saucer for the first time we said :wtf: in a cool way.

By the end of the episode, my friend and I just both said........... :wtf:

I said WTF when I saw it seperating, but not in a good way.
In fact, I was repeatedly saying WTF virtualy every ten seconds when I first saw EaF. When I saw the exterior of the ship, when I saw the interior of the ship, when I saw it seperating, etc, etc, etc.

What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I would have been brought up on Janway crap too Reliant, but my dad was into Trek too, we didn't turn that show on in my house.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
