Yep, its a 1.0 L. we looked at all the other Manufacturers of equivalent sizes, and it was best. by a mile. its a really good little car. Nippy as hell for something that small too.

At least the extension was passed, huh, Bryan?

I've been there, though, and I know how frustrating it is. Best of luck.

Yeah.....good luck bro. I feel you.

They are doing like MASS layoffs at my dealerships too. Nobody's safe it seems except upper management. They cut half of the lot boys, two service techs, a service rider and cashier, and some sales people. Lucky for me I'm already doing the work of three positions now, or I may be in danger too. Not to say that on the second round they won't find me expendable too. :worried:

Just today, they laid off our MV clerk/receptionist/contract clerk. We're FUBAR without her, too.

No, we don't have to do motor-vehicles work or anything, but now it's going to fall into the hands of one of the comptrollers, who doesn't know what she's doing. I also foresee longer-standing contracts-in-transit, because she doesn't know how to put together a contract package to send to the banks.

Reliant - hard to tell from that pic but is that like Chevy's Aveo hatchback? I'm not sure about the European spec, but I think it was called "Kalos" on the continent.

The Chevrolet Kalos is no longer supported. The Matiz is a little bit smaller, its a super mini. its a tad bit larger than the Toyota Aygo, Citroen C1 and Peugeot 107. The Current Chevrolet hatchback is the Lacetti. Although the hatchback version of the Aveo on the website does look like a Matiz...in fact it looks pretty damn small for a hatchback, by my standards anyway.

EDIT: Actually, we do have the Aveo and it is badged the Aveo. its a little larger than the Matiz.
Image <---- Thats a pretty damn small hatchback, when you compare it to the Lacetti

Now i have to say, that our Matiz is a top of the range 1.0 litre. Its got Air-con (Which is almost bloody instant, its quite scary), a very powerful stereo, internal boot trigger, electric windows. you dont get that with the lower 0.8 litre S model. And the 0.8 is prone to the head gasket going. but i'd recommend the 1.0 to anyone.

I like that you mentioned it has air-conditioning. That's pretty much a foregone conclusion for vehicles in Texas.

Thats optional on the top of the Range SE 1.0 manual. it dont come on either of the 0.8's. but even so its like, £7500.

Now I wish the Matiz was available here. Smallest we have is the Aveo (my car :) )

Thorin's lesson of the day:
Starting about 3 hours worth of ridiculously hard uni work at 3.50 am is such a bad idea when your fist lecture is in 5 hours. Even 5 cans of redbull won't be able to help you.

EDIT: Thorin's new lesson of the day:
Continuing work at nearly 5am with a lecture at 9am is an even worse idea - if possible - than first thought.
