RHCP used to rock - esp. when Hillel Slovak was still alive. Uplift Mofo Party Plan was their best album; the other early stuff was great, too, but the new stuff is watered-down drek.

the beatles, elvis and the stones are great musicians, technically good and innovative, i love 'em, although some fans seem to literally idolise them, which is obscene
