Oh, Pete, we have agreed on so many things - but not now.

RHCP used to rock - esp. when Hillel Slovak was still alive. Uplift Mofo Party Plan was their best album; the other early stuff was great, too, but the new stuff is watered-down drek.

Now, The Cramps - there was a band who never went downhill. Plus, I can't forget New Jersey's own... The Misfits!!!

I'm not too keen on them myself, actually. Same with the Stones and Beatles.

Meh, I'm not too big on them myself.
I wouldn't say I can't stand them, but I don't see the hype about them. Or Elvis.

Rochey probably said it better than I did. They're just not my band. Same with the Stones and Aerosmith and Elvis.

the beatles, elvis and the stones are great musicians, technically good and innovative, i love 'em, although some fans seem to literally idolise them, which is obscene

I'll assume you mean the Rolling Stones (as opposed to the Stone Roses, who are also pretty awesome). I don't particularly like Elvis' music, but I can appreciate it, and how it brought about a lot of (relatively) modern music.
