Ummm... ever see ther Remans from ST: Nemesis? All we need now are orcs.
Species of the week: Vulcans
im not a big vulcan fan either. I actually think T'pol is the most bearable... I like how the relationship between her and Archer and the rest of the crew develops... On the other hand, i cant stand Tuvok.. and is it just me, or does it seem like every idea that Tuvok came up with got shot down instantly by EVERYONE instantly?

Maybe they hate Vulcans as much as we do.
This thread is weird. I thought everyone liked Vulcans apart from me.

What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

They were quite petty and condescending to humanity at the time. And that arrogance carried through all the series. Remember Solok from Take me out to the Holosuite?Monroe wrote:I hate them tooReason I liked Enterprise so much. Their 'evilier' take on the Vulcans was a lot better and more realistic.

I'm going to go ahead and go against the grain with this one....I like Vulcans. They're not my favorite species (Cardassians!), but as Star Trek species go, they're pretty good.

Not to mention the psycho Vulcan serial-killer from "Field of Fire"...Remember Solok from Take me out to the Holosuite?

Ever noticed for those who are familiar with it, that Vulcans tend to behave very much along the lines of asperger syndrome? pedantic language, a seeming lack or difficult displaying emotions, certain 'strange' ways of decision-making, average to above-average intelligence, 'strange questions' as a reaction to normal things ('Were we having a good time?' one of the TMP movies, by Spock) and some other thingies?

The "Vulcan Way" almost seems to me a complete flattening of affect, with an almost psychopathic touch - not psychopathic in the popular movies sense, but in the technical sense: able to determine "right" and "wrong," but unable to care or base decisions on that determination.
I can't stand nothing dull
I got the high gloss luster
I'll massacre your ass as fast
as Bull offed Custer

Yeah, I can't think of anything more illogical than that.
Hmm, except maybe for the Ocampans. Now that was just stupid writing.![Rolling Eyes ](./images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif)
