What's the latest in people's lives?
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
I went up to New Hampshire during the summer. There is no traffic up there. I mean none. It's creepy.

York is in yorkshire i think. Thats north england. the biggest cities of Hampshire are Portsmouth and Southampton.
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
OK, I don't know these things, because before I came to this forum I didn't know anybody from Europe, so it didn't seem important.

I'm playing with you, although I do find it incredibly annoying that American names are often reuses of english ones
Re: What's the latest in people's lives?
OFTEN? Try almost always. It's stupid considering how hard we worked to get away from England, and then we steal their names. Why couldn't we just be original, IDK

Hey! Don't blame us, blame the colonists who wanted a reminder of home when they came over.
Such as by me, there's a North Hampton County---is there an analog in England? There's a Bangor...their Marching Band is patterend on the Welsh, and One of the local high schools in Bethlehem (I think it may be Liberty) patterns themselves on the English.
A lot of regions around here are either English, Welsh or Scottish names, or old Indian (I'm sorry: "Native American") names. Not Our Fault

IIRC, there's also a Dublin somewhere in the US.
