Best/Worst ship deaths in Trek
Re: Best/Worst ship deaths in Trek
The NX-01 blowing up in Twilight was quite good as well. (Enterprise)
The USS Tsiolkovsky in The Naked Now was pretty crappy. (TNG)

How about the cube in FC.
Blew up, and took a lot of ships with it.

No trees were killed in transmission of this message. However, some electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

Hell, the Defiant didn't go until the Breen unleashed their power-draining secret weapon. She was dead in space and kept absorbing one torp after another until they cracked her!

There is not a problem in this world that can't be solved without the proper application of a sufficient number of thermonuclear ordnance.

Voyager self destructing to avoid capture by the Vidians was cool too.

Re: Best/Worst ship deaths in Trek
for best i'm going to have to go with most noble, and say Voyager when she rammed into the Krenim time ship.
Honorable Mention: The Defiant, she took one hell of a beating
Worst: c'mon, almost any GCS explosion, most of which could have been stopped if the ship was better designed.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

The overgunned freighter E-D destroyed in "Unification II" should go in the column of bad deaths; a single low-power warning shot took her out! To think it was her own weapons that did it...
What of HMS Bounty when she crashed into the San Fransisco Bay in TVH? We never found out what became of her.

Worst: USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) in Star Trek III - Kirk gave up too easily. Why not be like Worf? "Prepare for ramming speed!"
Best: USS Defiant (NX-74205) while under the influence of the Breen Energy Dampening Weapon. "She was a good ship."

What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.
