Re: Best/Worst ship deaths in Trek

Best: E-nil in TSFS

Honorable Mention: the Defiant and Chang's BoP - both took a lot of torpedoes to destroy them

Worst: E-D

Re: Weekly Poll

But Mayweather did a lot of important things, like fly the ship, find the sweet spot, talk sometimes, umm, push buttons, umm, umm, fly the shuttle, umm, umm, umm, make a snowman....yeah, he was useless

Re: Dominion war machine

Given the Founders distrust of solids, they probably would try to only produce Dominion ships, so they could be certain to contain a Cardassian uprising if there was one. They use the Cardies when they need cannon fodder, but they make sure that there are always more of their ships to maintain the u...

Re: Scimitar vs. Soverign

I guess it would make sense also if Picard had never found anyone in the seven years to replace Worf after he had served with Picard for seven years, and only felt comfortable with him. However, it is the Federation flagship, and you know only the best of the best of Starfleet, however much that is ...

Re: What if............

It would definitely suck to do the same stuff day after day....wait, I'm doing that at my job now. Oh well. But with space travel, it seems to me that it would only be practical that it would take quite a while to get from place to place. Unless you ask B&B. Then it takes as long as you need it ...

Umm, I'm new, but I would gather that the answer to Deep's question would be no :worried:

Re: What if............

I guess it would just get chalked up to 'Captain's discretion.' Or it might have to do with how busy the space lanes are around the area that they are heading towards, and how critical it is that they get to a certain place in a certain amount of time. Seems to me in space travel if you have months ...

Re: Scimitar vs. Soverign

I have to say, Picard shows terrible judgment with Worf. Every time he comes aboard Picard puts him in charge of Tactical. Can you imagine what that does to the ship's own Tactical officers? Whoever is actually in that role on the E-E must feel about an inch tall every time it happens, and his own ...
