Re: Chakotay's greatest moment
Never was a huge Chakotay fan, but you have to give the man credit for hooking up with seven of nine.

Re: The Romulan War
The questions of ship production and Earth technical capability would definitely need some kind of compromise solution that would be shaky at best. I would liked to have seen this as another season or movie though. My thought is that for once the Romulans would choose to act decisively and launch an...

Re: Kira's greatest moment
I have been trying to come up with a Kira moment - definitely a harder task than Spock or Riker. I did like what they did with the character the last four episodes. I thought having her help out the Cardassian resistance was a good way to bring everything full circle. I just wish they would have off...

Re: Telepathy and legal rights in Trek
I like Captain Seafort's analogy. I think there would be flexibility in terms of legality - up to a certain point is acceptable while moving beyond that line is forbidden. I do know that many of the telepaths we have seen through the years should develop better manners. Most of the Betazoids in TNG ...

I liked Dina Meyer as Commander Donatra in Nemesis. Definitely the hottest Romulan we have seen

The truck scene from ST:IV
"Are you sure it is not time for a colorful metaphor?"
Not exactly saving the Enterprise, but it gave me a laugh.

Re: The Dark Knight
I just saw the film last night. Let me tell you, the critics are not joking about Ledger's role as the Joker. Quite honestly, it might be the best villain performance in history. Big words, I know, but I was incredibly impressed.
Re: Carrier
From what I have seen, most fighter armament has been a scaled down version of capital ship armament. Would a change in tactics and weapon load be more practical? Maybe we should take a cue from WWII carrier aircraft and carry only one quantum torpedo or the most powerful phaser/disruptor that is po...

I second the reason of Teaos - Hoshi was very hot. Plus, T'pol in the mirror universe was not too bad either.

Re: Galaxy Class Capability
Thanks for all of the input. I like the idea of a "Lakota style" refit of the Galaxy class - maybe something like we saw in the All Good Things episode. Throw in a quantum torpedo turret and some pulse phaser cannons and you would have a hell of a ship. Powerful and effective yet classic -...

Re: War of the Week, KE/RSE vs UFP
I don't think we would see an absolute victor where one group or the other is totally conquered. I do believe there would be massive casualties (more than Dominion War), and this would convince the Federation to yield territory. The Klingons, of course, would gain territory at the cost of at least h...

Galaxy Class Capability
I am a newcomer, so forgive me if I repeat topics that have already been discussed. Does anyone have any thoughts on just how effective the Galaxy class was as a combat vessel? Of course, we know from the Next Generation, that it definitely has some survivability problems and that it certainly canno...

Re: Favourite Janeway Moment
It was actually, "I don't compromise with Borg" in the Unimatrix Zero episode. I liked it because she actually made a threat and meant it.
