I have not played one since the 64 days, but man that was a damm good quality game. I loved the expert mode, had like 1800+ point kills at one point.

Its a very nice design. I can see clearly your use of the Akira class in the design, but my concerns lie in the strength of the rear end of the ship and its weak look. I would be concerned if the ship took to many hits to the rear end.

I tend to enjoy Tom Clancy allot, the Hunt for Red October is by far my favorite. I like the evolution of Ryan throughout the series. I also enjoy the spin offs such as Rainbow Six (I'm a special forces Junkie) and Red Storm Rising (WW3 but non nuclear)

Maybe experience with coolant leaks on the Galaxy class led to improved safety features on later ships like the Intrepid. I can see your thinking on this. Could it be that the whole little "Dominion War upgrade" to the class was meant to cover up a severe flaw in the cooling system. LOL J...

I like your Eisenhower Class, from the designs in my mind that has more firepower in the Phaser section then the science dept might care for in the Federation. Excalibur Class got a ton of firepower to say the least...would not Type 4 quantum/photon tubes have more firepower then the Type 3 or pulse...

From what of the few I've seen, I have to disagree about the CGI. I think its just enough to be appropriate, and not overkill like some of the early DS9/VOY episodes. I really do have to watch this series more to catch back up.

I would agree with the De-technologificating, basically steal a 1890s Heavy Cruiser model and go from there. No lights, no sleekness, would have been a hell of allot better.

I found it funny that E-D suffered a rather generic coolant leak, and I could have sworn that Voyager suffered a coolant leak every other episode. Why not just have Main Engineering compartment ripped open, or several direct hits to engineering, or hell have the ship damaged by the fragments from th...

Re: Mirror Voyager

DBS wrote:It is called "Living Witness", and is very highly rated by this site, by the way. Look in Season 4, DVD 4.6.
If what I've been reading, I've seen several sites rate it as one of the top 10 Voyager episodes, and it was directed by Voyages resident Vulcan none other then Tim Russ.

Mirror Voyager was simply cool because it had some teeth. "Voyager had a complement of 300 soldiers and that Voyager's torpedoes had a 25-isoton yield; Voyager had triple-armored hull, 30 torpedo tubes, 25 phaser banks" - Credit Star Trek Voyager Encyclopedia. "The warship Voyager - o...

What I would do...a few buddies of mine had a good conversation about this at Applebees a few weeks ago. I would essentially borrow an idea from the Anime, the OVA/OAV (Original Video Animation). My goal is to test the waters for future Star Trek Series by making shorter run series. 6-12 episodes a ...
