Re: Today I Watched...
Godzilla vs. Kong I enjoyed it. The fight scenes between the two main Titans were nicely done, and then the climactic fight involving a Human-made Titan, which seems to take a few elements from Transformers: Age of Extinction. An arrogant billionaire attempting to create his own model of a powerful ...

Xindi-Avians
I've been re-watching Enterprise. Currently in Season 3. Something has been on my mind ever since the series first aired, and it keeps coming back whenever I watch the series. In "The Shipment", the Xindi-Avians are first mentioned, believed to have gone extinct when their homeworld was de...

Re: The Youtube video thread!
My favorite body-only fight from a movie is still this one from The Searchers involving original Christopher Pike actor Jeffrey Hunter.

Greyhound (2020) A very gripping story about a convoy crossing the Atlantic, evading German U-boats, in the early days of US's involvement in WWII, 2 months after Pearl Harbor. Tom Hanks was great as the captain. Seeing him in another WWII movie got me wondering if anyone ever did a tally of actors ...

Re: Today I Watched...
I'm wrapping up the 2019-2020 seasons of NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, Superstore, and Young Sheldon. I'm guessing in the worlds of the TV shows set in the present day of 2020, the COVID pandemic took off a little later than in real world. At the end of the season, not a face mask or p...

Re: Today I Watched...
Last night, I watched Dragonheart: Vengeance , third of three direct-to-video prequels to the 1996 film released between 2015 and 2020. Of the four direct-to-video installments (including A New Beginning in 2001), I'd say this one is the best. It doesn't match the quality of the original film, of co...

CHAPTER 4 Earth Calendar: 998,368 B.C. GOVKOR BANKED to avoid a pair of disruptor blasts, and then rolled to avoid a second pair. The pale green beams flashed across his view while the ship lurched under the impact of a third pair, momentarily jarring him from the neural interface. He felt the ship...

CHAPTER 3 Earth Calendar: 9 March 2105 A.D. “I HOPE you find what you long for out there, Kenneth,” Aldwin said, holding out his hand. Ken tried to keep his expression firm, but his dad’s beseeching eyes tugged at his heart. He sighed and accepted the hand. “Thanks, Dad.” “I love you, son.” Ken spr...

CHAPTER 2 Earth Calendar: 998,368 B.C. GOVKOR CLUNG to the docking interface near the port side airlock, shaping his body to grip the latch and mimicking the metallic hull of his scout ship. Immersed in the complete silence of space as the ship approached an orifice of a spherical starbase. He had ...

PROLOGUE Earth Calendar: 9 June 2072 A.D. RAKAN GRIPPED her console with webbed fingers as the ship shook around her. Re: Today I Watched...
Today, I'm wrapping up Season 2 of Lost in Space (2018 version) and Season 1 of The Mandalorian . I debated a long time whether I would watch the new Lost in Space . Then, earlier this year, my oldest brother recommended it. I'm glad he did. I think this version is MUCH better than the '60s version....
