Finally saw it today...was so nice to laugh at all the funny takes both huge and toss aways.. good time had by all!

Episode 6: YAWN...a toss-away episode

Strange New Worlds is the best of the bunch, especially for a more TOS type experience.

I broke down and got a Disney+ subscription a few months ago so my guy could have Dr Who without any fuss ( still not happy bbc america lost dr who to a streamer). And by the way, he has yet to watch any episodes..lol

Read that there might be a Paramount/Max streaming merger coming soon...interesting when both platforms have recently raised their prices. I have Max as part of Directv satallite subscription, and Paramount+ as part of Showtime...so no clue how a merger will change things for my viewing...wait and s...

Episode 5: good action/fighting, obvious AF reveal, ye olde switch-a-roo trope, so much foreshadowing that if you have half a brain cell, you see what's coming several par secs away....sliding from 'meh' to 'why bother' for me.

Hoping the heat wave breaks soon, or I'll need help unzipping my human suit....I mean...I'll need a cool shower!

From the moment they introduced the SNWs crew on Disco, I knew it would make a terrific re-imagining of classic Trek and when it finally premiered, it felt very much like TOS in vibe and scope.

Season 2 begins August 29th...looking good!

Season two has begun...still good for all the right reasons!

It continues to be great...gory and violent like all the other seasons to be sure...much more political parallels with intrigue and under the table deals...a few new characters...main characters are going off their respective rails...four episodes in and still lots of jaw dropping moments!

Episode4: the halfway mark and things are not getting better. One character does a complete 180 in their motivation, that they spent three and a half episodes cementing. This was also extremely short compared to others...making me wonder if the writers gave up or just did not want to show any more '...
