11 Generic official information Taken from the official size chart released for the movie, scaled to a 762 m Enterprise
12 Star Trek Deep Space Nine Technical Manual Stated on page 156. This is the size we would expect if the saucer section matches that of a standard Excelsior in size; however, the DS9 TM figures for height and beam do not match those calculated from scale diagrams using this length.
13 Star Trek Deep Space Nine Technical Manual
14 Speculative Scaled to the Galaxy class nacelles.
15 Speculative Calculated very approximately by comparing the overall length to the size of windows on a photograph of the Cheyenne model. Could well be off by 20% or more either way.
16 Star Trek Deep Space Nine Technical Manual Calculated from the scale diagram on page 317, compared to the Constitution class. Scaling of bridge module and impulse engines to the refit Constitution class gives a figure in the 230 - 260 range. Some non-canon sources give a length of 315 metres.

49 Speculative Based on comparison of the Raider to Voyager in 'Caretaker'.
50 Speculative Estimated from window size and spacing
51 Speculative Judged by comparison with the Excelsior it was towing.
52 Speculative Scaled so that the primary hull is equal to that of the Niagra Class in size.
53 Generic official information
54 Speculative Approximate, scaled to the estimated height of the captain's yacht on the saucer section. Since this ship was designed as a version of the Enterprise for 'Star Trek : Phase 2', the size should be roughly similar to the original Enterprise. Note that class name is speculative, assuming that the only known ship of this class was in fact the first of its kind.

68 Star Trek Encyclopedia Calculated by looking at the diagram on page 213. This shows 15 decks, and assuming each one to be 4.05 metres tall this gives an overall length of 343 metres. The ship's designer Rick Sternback has confirmed this as being the 'real' length of the ship, although some sources give numbers significantly higher.

77 Speculative Assumed to have been scaled up in its refit by the same amount as the Constitution.
78 Speculative This is one of the most difficult lengths to work out - any way you do it seems to give a radically different answer. There are at least three possibilities :

Mr. Stipes says that the Miranda class is 500 - 560 feet (152 to 171 metres) long.

From the scale diagram on Page 317 of the Encyclopedia (1st edition), we get 243 metres (compared to the E-A).

Using the Omnipedia diagram comparing the Daedalus, Oberth, Miranda, and Intrepid class ships ('show resource' entry under Starships), we get 259 metres (compared to a 343 metre Intrepid).

In the end I arbitrarily decided to use the 243 metre figure because it looked like the best match to what we saw of the USS Reliant in Startrek II.
