Members of the away team which visited the planet Tarchannen III in 2362 begin to vanish. Investigation shows that the team was infected by an alien species whilst on the planet, and are transforming into members of the alien race. Geordi La Forge and Susanna Leijten, both members of the away team, are saved from the transformation process. [1]
