The Enterprise picks up Federation Emmisary K'Ehleyr, who informs them that a Klingon cruiser which has been on a long duration mission with the crew in hibernation is soon to arrive back in Federation space. The crew are able to successfully convince the Klingons not to attack the nearby Federation outposts and begin the process of re-assimilating them into modern Klingon society. [1]
