Review : On first veiwing, this episode falls rather flat in places. There are, however, some rather nice touches: The banter between Doctor and "Clown" is superbly handled, and is a reminder of why the EMH became such a popular character. This episode also does a great job of creating an atmosphere of eternal hell, despite apparently being set in a bright, colourful funfair. Admittedly, there are a few typical Voyager clichés, such as the Surly-Forhead-Aliens who don't even get names, and the inevitable failure of the crew's safety precautions. That said, it is good to see that they at least TRIED to protect Harry (unlike thier usual method of sending the entire crew into "the Spectre Of Death!" without a moment's thought). My only regret is that they didn't send Neelix into the program. Janeway: "So the Clown wants to keep at least one prisoner. Hmm, would we all like to see shoved into a guillotine"
