DS9, the eternal space-opera. Here we are, season 7. The Federation is being battered by the Dominion, the fate of the Alpha Quadrant hanging in the balance... and our heroes- stationed near the front lines- are busy trying to save a holodeck casino. Great to see they have their priorities right! In one season, we have a baseball game and a casino heist. Such a perfect little war... |

"Sisko's Nine"; a singularly daft take on "Ocean's Eleven". This all seemed a bit pointless. Still, there was finally a holosuite story which did not involve a possibly lethal malfunction. This 'jack-in-the-box' was pre-programmed in, and presumably the safties were still on. The one thing I liked was Sisko and Cassidy's argument about why he wasn't joining in. Both had valid points, and it was worth reminding the audience just how bad things really were in the past. Anyway, now it's over, we can get back to beating the Dominion. |

I don't understand why these reviews are so negative. Badda-bing, Badda-Bang was just another fun holosuite episode, like "Take me out to the Holosuite." It was a refreshing take from all the gloom and doom of the war. Just a little fun. At least the holosuite worked properly the whole way through. |
