This may or may not be good. From my point of view, Torres took some liberties with the Prime Directive, but I think she managed to contain things OK in the end. It seems as though the initial breach wasn't her fault, although that is a little unclear. Still, I have to wonder if there was not a ready-made play in the Delta Flyer's memory banks that could have served. Some people might have gone for this, but it seems that B'Elanna preferred to deal with it by helping the author make it up as they went along. A shuttle crash wasn't particularly imaginative, but what was actually shown was intriguing. The acting troupe seemed fairly convincing, although not outstanding. The play itself seemed to work fairly well, I found myself wondering what the rest of it was like, the audience must have been astounded by the "special effect" at the end. Overall, not too bad. |
