w\Wonderful story of two possible lives of Dr. McCoy from the future and the past, this book weaves all sorts of different Star Trek mythos into it, from Edith Keeler to Benny Russell. Very imaginitive read. |

This secomd book of the trilogy was not up to snuff with the first. It was promising, but, after I read the entire length of the Provenence of Shadows, I quite simply found this one to be too short.... |

Decent book, the first of the three was certainly the best, however. |

Nice try, but the characters fall flat and the intended malice of the antagonists (borg) ends up crap. |

This was a great debut effort for Capt. Riker and his motley crew of non-humanoids. Very interesting characters, good use of previously known peoples, solid story, too bad this won't be a feature film or TV show..... |

4 of 5 for effort, if DS9 hadn't played with the Mirror Universe, this could easily have been a logical progression of the Empire. Still a solid story. |

Ehhh....It was OK, decent use of approximate time frames on regards to other characters, but Janeway came of to me as a little too neurotic for her own good. I just couldn't see someone like that succeeding at command. |

Good story of what happens immediately after the events of TMP and the "ascention" of V'ger. It gives a good account of the relationship between Kirk, Spock, and McCoy, and what drives them together, using some good TOS history. Must read! |

This one was good! It's always fun to hear about the backstory on a favorite character, and this one deserves recognition. Very well done. |

It's clear to me that, after all the Vornholdt books I've read, that this was intended to be a slap in the face to Stat Trek. Barf. |
