Title : Star Trek: Mr Scott's Guide to the Enterprise Rating : 4
Writers : Shane Johnson Year : 1987
Review : How could any self-respecting TOS Trekkie NOT have read this book? Unless I am sorely mistaken, this was the first "Technical Manual" for Star Trek. The images aren't as great as they could have been, but the CONTENT is awesome! I love how it was written from the POV of Mr Scott. A must-read for anyone interested in the Enterprise-A.
Title : The Physics of Star Trek Rating : 5
Writers : Lawrence M. Krauss Year : 1995
Review : I read this while I was in undergrad studies. It's really an amazing look at how honestly feasible many of the Treknologies are. The look at warp drive was incredible - I've keep the book and read it now and then just so I can imagine what the future may really hold for us. Great read!
