Review : I thought this book was great. Finally something to draw all those Dax hosts together in one book. We heard bits and pieces in on DS9, but nothing this thorough. Very good read.

Review : The Lives of Dax is an interesting book. It does a good job of portraying each of Dax's hosts and making each story interesting. You see elements of each host that we later see in Jadzia and Ezri. You can see how each host really does affect who Jadzia Dax is and what Ezri has to deal with. It's a very good story and worth reading for anyone with an interest in Dax.

Review : What can I say? Nine hosts, nine stories, each one of them totally different. I don't know about everyone else, but I never realised how important Dax was. The people of the Federation have a lot to thank him/her/it for. The subtle references from Deep Space Nine are expanded out into something I really couldn't put down. Reading about Tobin's adventures back in the 'Enterprise' era, just how horrible a murderer Joran was, exactly why Sisko and Curzon are so close, and with all kinds of twists, turns and revelations along the way... I don't know what else to say. A darn good read. Can we have a 5.5 rating added just for this?

Review : Great book! Finally, you can read about the other Daxs that made up Dax. This book starts off with Ezri talking to Vic Fontaine in the holo-suite, and then moves chronologically from the first host through jadzia back to Ezri, and Ezri finally realizes that all these memories are a part of her. You also learn how come Ezri was picked to host the Dax symbiont, when she wasnt the only trill on board :)
