Review : my personal favorite star trek book ever. it succeds where a lot have failed in trying to tie in events, in this case, just after undiscovered country. good story, villian action and really adds something to the star trek story over all.

Review : A good overall read, and aside from some detail errors, it doesn't conflict too badly with established Trek canon. there's plenty of drama, and a little bit of melodrama, but that aside, it's very well written.

Review : Diane Carey books are not normaly favorites of mine but this book has become one of my personal favorites. The story line is great, the characters are all 3d and it does a great job in showing some of the forces that shaped the James T. Kirk we all know and love.
